Storm summary for April 26-29, 2009

0.61″ of rain fell yesterday, bringing the storm total to 2.20″ in the last 3 days, 2.21″ in the last 4 days, and 2.61″ in the last 5 days. This has led to widespread lowland flooding in Armstrong Park,  which may take some days to recede. The monthly total for April is now 4.93″, 1.73″ more than falls in a typical month.

Waves of thunderstorms are possible this coming Wednesday night through Friday, April 31-May 1. The next 5 days may bring up to 1-2″ more rain, and locally more, causing more rises on Klein Creek. See the QPF forecasts for model estimates of precipitation in the next 5 days.

    We received a good bit of rain this weekend (in Wisconsin)…..3.48″.

    Saturday – 1.72″
    Sunday – 1.76″
